Aug. 11, 2010 Doctor Elizabeth Lee is fun, sensitive, deeply commited to her patients and has a rapport with beauty which supports her integrated work with holitstic and lovely women. She is off the charts as a human and specialist of pretty happy humans.

Aug. 5, 2010 Dr. Slass-Lee removed a mole from my face in January of this year. I held off from writing a review until now so I could include info. about the scar. I was extremely nervous about having my mole removed but once I met Dr. Slass-Lee, I knew for sure that I wanted the procedure done by her. She is very personable and knows her craft very well. Today, I have a barely noticeable scar (and when I say "barely", I mean that even my family sometimes forgets that I ever had a mole). If your looking amazing service and results...you should definitely go see Dr. Slass-Lee (I didn't mean to rhyme). :-)

July 31, 2010 Dr. Lee is obviously a great surgeon, but she is wonderful for the day to day procedures also. I visited Dr. Lee to inquire about Botox and filler. I also informed her that I have a very low tolerance to pain. She was wonderful. My face looks amazing. I think she shaved ten years off it, and there was no pain involved. Plus I trusted her. She is a very confident woman. I certainly will be going back to Dr. Lee for all my cosmetics needs. She is the best in the Berkeley area.

July 21, 2010 Well, this experience was certainly pleasant! When you can make that statement after about 12 injections into your face it means something! I heard about Dr. Lee through RealSelf where she has written thorough, honest answers to questions about plastic surgery and anti-aging procedures for a couple of years now. I had specific areas I wanted to improve and she took the time to really look at me and truthfully tell me what was possible and what could only be addressed through surgery. We worked out a treatment plan together, she clearly told me what the prices would be upfront, and she had common sense suggestions for next steps. You might think that having another woman point out what's less-than-perfect about your features would be devastating, but Dr. Lee is straightforward, warm, understanding, non-threatening and understands when you say you want to keep some of those freckles! I'm going back!

Jan. 15, 2010 I went to Dr. Lee's office for a consultation regarding Latisse and walked away with so much more! Never have I felt so comfortable and at ease in a doctor's office. Dr. Lee and her assistant Jamie are absolutely fabulous and lacking the cold, sterile demeanor usually endured when being introduced to a new physician. I cannot say enough about their professionalism which is paired with a personal touch that bypasses the stalwart barrier between doctor and patient. I highly recommend consulting with this office for any procedure you may be considering and promise that you will walk away reassured and well informed to make the decision that is right for you.

Dec. 1, 2009 I've gone to different places over the years for skin care and thought I'd gotten the best results possible--then went to Dr. Lee who first put me on the Obagi system--which I had tried before, but hadn't gotten as good results, because Dr. Lee's method is more aggressive than the standard. I never found that she pushed anything--we always talked about options--and over time I have had a little filler, a little laser for red skin--every tweak has really helped in a subtle way--almost no one really notices, but I get compliments about looking great-- And having read the one bad review, all I can say is that it doesn't match anything else I've ever heard about Dr. Lee. She's really nice, and the staff is always helpful and professional.

Oct. 7, 2009 Dr. Lee is my hero! She is such a great doctor and amazing woman. If you are thinking about doing something in the cosmetic surgery arena but are apprehensive, at the very least, have a consultation with her. I assure you that you won't be disappointed. I am not the type to do plastic surgery, but I had twins a couple of years ago and it destroyed my stomach. It was a real bummer. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Lee so I decided to make an appointment to see what she would say. I don't know why but I was really nervous. I remember thinking when I was waiting for her to come in the room, "What the heck am I doing here?" Anyway, she totally rocked my world and my ideas about plastic surgery. I'm not sure what I was expecting in a plastic surgeon, but she was super down to earth and very honest with me about what I could expect. She actually asked me about my life, my twins and I felt like she was genuinely interested in my well-being. I think she was the first doctor that has ever asked me anything about my life outside of the reason that brought me to her office. Anyway, I went though with the tummy tuck and I'm very, very happy with the results. Honestly, it looks better than it did before my pregnancy. I'm soo happy about that. After the surgery, she also suggested that I do a skin treatment to help with the hormonal discoloration on my face. I was a little skeptical about that too I guess but the results of that have been wonderful!!! Thank you Dr. Lee!

Aug. 28, 2009 I had a great experience with Dr. Lee. I went to her for liposuction on my abdomen and flanks, and was just delighted with the outcome. She impressed me from the beginning by giving me very objective advice about the technology options available to me. The advice was focused on outcome and personal safety to me, rather than on potential income to her, which I found highly professional and refreshing. From the pre-op visits, to the surgery, to the post-op care, Dr. Lee was always extremely accessible, friendly, and willing to take whatever time was needed to answer my questions. Her office staff is also extremely warm and caring. I was very pleased with the outcome of my procedure, and would definitely work with Dr. Lee again if I ever decide to have further work done. Overall, very highly recommended.

Aug. 18, 2009 I found this doctor on Yelp and so want to pass on the word. I was really nervous going in to see her, worried about the "perfect doctor" vibe I might find. Was I happily surprised! Dr. Lee is really straightforward, listened to my concerns without any form of judgement and then laid out my options clearly along with her recommended treatment plan. When I had more questions, she answered them, no problem. I chose not to be treated that day, and that was fine with her too. When I came back to start treatment, I felt like I was returning to see a friend. The injectibles I got look great and she was really gentle and kind, even though I was a nervous wreck. I could not be more pleased with the care I received in Dr. Lee's office. I would recommend her to anyone without question or hesitation.

Aug. 14, 2009 I went to Dr. Lee twice, for two separate surgical procedures, neither cosmetic. She was able to do the procedures in her office. She was professional, caring and fully explained the procedures, including the possible diagnoses. Both lesions where benign, fortunately. If I had needed more than the lesions excised, I am 100% certain that she would remained professional, caring, and committed to finding best treatment plan for me. TEN STARS if Yelp would let me.

Aug. 2, 2009 I am an experienced registered nurse and have known Dr Elizabeth Lee since 1997. I am her patient and have referred many, many patient's to her. She is a well trained Board Certified plastic surgeon and hand specialist in solo practice in Berkeley near Alta Bates Hospital. Since I have been her patient, my friends and family tell me I look great but they can't put their finger on exactly what changed! They say, "You look ten years younger!" When I see her I feel like I am going to see my best friend. I have been very happy with her recommendations and her treatment. She never rushes me in or out of the office. She is responsive when I phone or email her. Dr Lee is one of the top plastic surgeons in the San Francisco area in my opinion, and you couldn't choose a better physician!

July 21, 2009 I've been a patient of Dr. Lee's since 2003. As a preface, I would have been voted "least likely to visit a plastic surgeon" in my high school yearbook. However, two nearly 10 pound babies, two cesarean sections, and a massive "pseudo hernia" later, I was ready for some surgical intervention. I couldn't hold my stomach in, my abdomen was a spiderweb of stretch marks, my belly button was distorted, and I couldn't find clothes that fit because my abdomen was so completely out of proportion with the rest of my body. Anyway, I was prepared for a long "kiss many frogs" contest to find the right surgeon. However, after I met Dr. Lee I stopped looking and scheduled my surgery. She has an excellent mix of being warm and personable, while still exuding the "surgeon" vibe that let me trust her enough to fiddle with my innards. So I had an abdominoplasty and I have been thrilled since the moment I looked down after surgery. The effect was immediate and major. I am now proportional and find it possible to buy clothes off the shelf. Plus, as an added benefit my abdominal muscles are much stronger. Since the surgery I have returned for some dermal fillers (they are fantastic and Dr. Lee places them for optimal effectiveness), and most recently experimented with a little Dysport (the "new" botox that is less expensive). Dr. Lee is very conservative and goes for the "you look great, have you lost weight or have a new haircut?" look rather than the "OMG what have you done to your face!" look. I have also become somewhat addicted to the prescription skin care line she carries - Obagi. People always comment about how great my skin looks, and, trust me, no one ever said that before. So, while I live a generally frugal and modest existence, I have the most fabulous personal plastic surgeon and skin/face magician on call to do my bidding. And the best thing is that I will share her with you and you will love her.

July 16, 2009 What can I say about Dr. Lee that hasn't been said yet...hmmm...she's GREAT! I met Dr. Lee when I was looking around for a surgeon to perform a hernia repair and breast reduction. I had seen a few surgeons prior to Dr. Lee but I was still on the fence as to when I wanted the surgery done...that is until I met Dr. Lee. When I first met Dr. Lee she was very professional. She asked me all the right questions and answered all my questions, that is until she took a look at my "problem areas" then she drops the professional tone and spoke to me like a girlfriend and said "poor sweetie, we can't have you walking around like this anymore...you need to get this fixed"! It was right there and then that I knew she was going to be my doctor. You see, Dr. Lee is very honest with you and if you don't need something done, she will tell you it's not needed. Her bedside manner after surgery was wonderful too. I had major surgery done and everything turned out great. Right after my surgery, she even opened up her office during the Christmas holidays just for me. She wanted to check on me before the long Christmas break and make sure I was okay. Did I mention she gave me her cell # to call her if I had any problems or questions? What more could anyone ask for? Oh yes one more thing I almost forgot to add...she makes you jewelry! I walked into her office the day after surgery for a post op visit and walked out with a pretty necklace!

July 8, 2009 Dr Lee is not only a great doctor, when you go see her you feel like you know her for years ! I am very satisfied with the service that she is giving to her patients, she isn't scared to answer any questions you asked. Dr. Lee is very gentle, warm and you feel like she really cares about you. She is always for you when you need her ! She also has a very nice sense of humor, I love it ! When you go there with even thousands of problems Dr. Lee will try to make you happy. I am planning to go back there for other treatment like a laser but I also recommend her to all my friends !

July 2, 2009 I'm truly mystified by the comments of Che J, because I find Dr. Lee particularly warm, empathic, respectful and and always professional. She's a skilled surgeon and an intelligent doctor who really cares about her patients, and is willing to take whatever time is necessary to explain procedures, answer questions and address any concerns. She does careful post-surgury follow-up, never making the patient feel rushed or discounted. Her staff has always been friendly and helpful too. I can not recommend Dr. Lee more highly

June 26, 2009 Dr. Lee has worked with me to repair skin damaged by the sun. After two years with the Obagi skin cream system, I could not be more pleased! Dr. Lee has an artistic eye, with a surgeons hand. She always has time to discuss options, answer questions. She is highly skilled and delightfully personable!

May 14, 2009 Dr. Lee is a gem in her profession. Not only is she the best at what she does, she is actually a wonderful, warm person. I say this only because we all know how it feels to go to a doctor and get the quick run around or feel a lack of compassion and understanding on their part. Dr. Lee is quite the opposite.. And if you are looking to get work done on your appearance, I think this quality is essential. You obviously want someone who is not only going to listen to you, but pick up on any subtle or unconscious cues you may be expressing. On a side note, I can also say I have recommended many people to her who have also been very happy with the results of her work as a surgeon. Before making any decisions about doing work with anyone else, it is my advice to also get a consultation with her. You will not be disappointed!

May 12, 2009 Dr. Lee is an excellent physician and I would highly recommend her. I recently had a mole removed from my eyelid and was very nervous about the proximity to my eye. She was great and kept reassuring me throughout the process.She also injected Juvederm around my mouth and I'm very happy with the results. I'm going back!

April 26, 2009 Just another person who thinks Dr. Lee is the BEST! Not only does she have this super likable quality about her, but her confidence makes you feel at ease. I went in to get a mole removed from my face, I was somewhat terrified about the scarring, which is why I never did it. Dr. Lee's skills were exceptional!! The mole was removed without a trace of a scar. I feel so good about myself, thanks to Dr. Lee. Look nowhere else, she is the best!

March 2, 2009 Dr. Lee is wonderful! I haven't been a patient long but I always feel like I am visiting with an old friend. In addition to her fantastic bedside manner, she is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what to recommend for treatment. I had pigmentation, oil and acne along with my crows feet. I am extremely happy with the Obagi system and Dr. Lee's methods. Since I've been working with her, I've had people come in close and say, "you look amazing," with a puzzled voice, like, what's changed, I can't tell. Nor would they because my everything looksnatural. It's great to know that I have a doctor I can continue working with as I get older with the same goal as mine - to minimize the amount of work I need done later in life by maintaining what I've got now.

Feb. 20, 2009 I completely agree with all the other reviewers. Dr. Lee is the best! She is charming, funny, kind, and smart, extremely skilled as a surgeon and she is also an artist. She listened to my desires and concerns and gave me excellent guidance and advice. The results of her work on my face is natural and even better than I hoped for. I am now more confident and relaxed! She answered all my questions thoroughly and sometimes repeatedly. She was also very available and compassionate all through the post-op process. I can't imagine having gone through my plastic surgery with anyone else. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lee.

Feb. 18, 2009 Dr. Lee is an amazing doctor. I have been treated by her for several different things and she is wonderful. Her staff is wonderful too. They are very warm and inviting whether it be over the phone or at visits. Dr. Lee is always willing to work with her patients and what their wants and needs are. Feb. 12, 2009 I learned about Dr. Lee from a friend of mine. I recently had a mastopexy/augmentation and abdominoplasty/hernia repair. She is wonderful and so is her office staff. Dr. Lee is a very skilled surgeon and a caring and compassionate person. I like that she takes a conservative approach and my results are very natural looking. I had a complication after my surgery and Dr. Lee went way above and beyond the "call of duty" to take care of me and resolve the problem.

Dec. 9, 2008 I read about Dr Lee on Berkeley Parent's Network website and then checked her out on Yelp! Went in to discuss skin care issues and possibly get some poison injected into my face to make it look younger! She was as good or better than everyone says. So friendly, So easy to communicate with, No "I'm a DOCTOR" vibe at all. We decided I could use some fillers in the deep crevices of my face, and she was great about my squirmy spastic behavior while in the chair. Next day I was still swollen so called the office to make sure it was nothing major. They were great. Called me back right away, offered for me to come in even though it was not deemed necessary. Highly recommended!

Nov. 14, 2008 When I attended Dr. Lee's practice for the first time I expected the typical Doctors office experience. You know, harsh lighting, uncomfortable chairs, stressed out unfriendly staff, long waits and a rushed Doctor trying not to be too obvious about wanting to move onto the next patient. Well, I was pleasantly proved wrong. Dr. Lee's office is the polar opposite of that scenario. Walking into her waiting room, you feel as though you are coming home. The lighting is dim, the couch is super cozy, soft music is piped in and you are greeted by cheerful, engaged staff. Dr. Lee is absolutely amazing too. She explains procedures and goes over options with incredible detail to ensure your comfort level. You never feel rushed with Doctor Lee and she listens to each and every concern alot of "kid free" time. When you leave Dr. Lee's office you feel like you've just spent time with your best friend, favorite family member, trusted mentor and oh so capable and outstanding surgeon. Net, net you can't go wrong with Dr. Lee. I'd drive across the country to be in her care.

Concurrent with my hysterectomy, Dr. Lee reconstructed my stomach removing the gawdawful scars and reconstructing to result in only one scar, combining all the others. Her commitment, skill and integrity are sadly, rarely found. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Reviewed by K L. Nov. 13, 2008 I had breast reduction surgery with Dr. Lee in Feb 2007. She is skilled surgeon and she is equally skilled in understanding what it is her patients want. This surgery changed my life - I have never been happier and cannot think of one thing I wished I had done differently. The surgery went without a hitch, my recovery was speedy, and my post-op care was thoughtful and thorough. I was back to my regular workout schedule in less than a month, and almost 2 years later, my scars are hardly visible. I can't say enough about Dr. Lee and her office staff. If you are considering any kind of cosmetic surgery procedure, you owe it to yourself to have a consult with Dr. Lee.

Nov. 1, 2008 I have know Dr Lee for over five years and have met many of her patients. She is a caring and receptive surgeon and makes herself 100% available to anyone undergoing treatment. Dr Lee has a warm heart and is easy to connect with so that you feel very secure and safe. She takes the time in her consults to make sure people have a clear idea of what to expect. I highly recommend Dr Lee as a wonderful and able surgeon.

Oct. 25, 2008 I really don't have much to add to what other reviewers have praised upon. Dr. Lee is a genuinely caring surgeon who listens to what you want and any concerns you have. She gives you very objective options to produce the effect you're hoping for. I had a breast reduction and abdominoplasty with her in 2006 and haven't regretted it one bit. I'm also using the Obagi skin care line and love it. If you're considering anything regarding cosmetic dermatology or plastic surgery, it's worth your while to check out Dr. Lee.
